  • Gattinger's Foxglove (Agalinis gattingeri) - The only known Ohio population of this plant is located on City Parkland.
  • Spreading Rock Cress (Arabis patens) - One of only two Ohio populations occurs on City Parkland.
  • Yellow-crowned Night Heron (Nyctnanassa violacea)
  • Spotted Darter (Etheostoma maculatum) - federally monitored in Ohio
  • Bottomland Aster (Aster ontarionis)

  • Bluebreast Darter (Etheostoma camurum)
  • Paddlefish (Polydon spathula)
  • Drummond's Aster (Aster drummondii )
  • Nodding Rattlesnake-root (Prenanthes crepidinea)

    Monitored in Ohio

  • Red-shouldered Hawk (Buteo lineatus)
  • Eastern Box Turtle (Carolina carolina) 
  • Sharp-shinned Hawk (Accipiter striatus)
  • Prothonotary Warbler (Protonotaria citrea) - Hoover
    Reservoir is home to the largest breeding population of prothonotary warblersin Ohio.
