"Leisure Cards" are required for all participants six years of age and over.

For five years the Columbus Recreation and Parks Department has used a photo ID card system to register participants for admission to our swimming pools. The ID cards are required for children and adults to participate at the pools. We will begin requiring photo ID cards for all participants in our recreations center programs starting on September 21, 2001.

Participants are now required to present their cards for admission to any Columbus recreation center. Recreation centers will process applications for ID cards from 4 - 7:00 pm, Tuesday through Friday. There is a cost of $1.00 for each card.

Identification is required to receive a Leisure Card. The following forms of ID will be accepted 

Ages 6 -17

• Driver's License State I.D.
• School Photo ID
• Social Security Card Birth Certificate

Ages 18 or Older

• Driver's License State I.D.
• School Photo I.D.
• Current Employee Photo ID
• Current Military Photo ID
